Tatranska Lomnica , lies below Lomnicky Peak , which at 2632 meters above sea level is Slovakia’s second highest mountain . From here there is a funicular to Skalnate Pleso lake , where the valley station of the chair- lift to Salnate saddle , 2189 meters above sea level , is located . This ski-slope is one of the most popular – and most challenging – in Slovakia.
