Skiing and other winter sports have a long tradition in Slovakia. So why not choose the Tatra Mountains this year? Strbske Pleso

Strbske Pleso, the resort's third key mountain town, is named after a large mountain lake and at 1355 meters above sea level is the highest settlement in Slovakia. Its facilities were developed for the ski world championship, which took place here in 1970. More info...

Oscadnica

A small village high up in a strategic mountain pass in the Low Tatras, Donovaly is now a lively and popular winter sports resort. Its eighteen ski lifts and one chair – lift can carry more than 12,900 persons an hour . Downhill skiers can choose from seventeen ski- slopes totaling 11 kilometers in length , and there are 100 kilometers of cross – country  ski routes. More info...

Plejsy

Plejsy

Plejsy is just an hour’s drive from Poprad airport, not far from the Slovak Paradise National Park. In recent years, this resort has undergone dramatic growth thanks to excellent skiing conditions. There are nine downhill ski-runs of various levels of difficulty, served by seven ski-lifts and a twin-seat chair lift, and the north-facing slopes enable skiing an average of 123 days a year. Tale

Tale is located on the southern side of Chopok Mountain in the low Tatras . The resort is an ideal location for a family holiday. In the summer you can enjoy walking and golf , and in the winter the slopes provide excellent skiing for beginners and semi –advanced skiers .
